MPolish Dancing in the Streets purple stamping polish

I don't even know how to properly express my love for this current mani.  I'm not even sure where to start.  When a polish (or polishes in this case) render me speechless, you know you have a winner.

Today I have MPolish Dancing in the Streets to share with you.  Please read on for more pics and info!

So, if you read my last post (the one about a new red stamping polish from MPolish), you know what's to come.  If you haven't read it, please take a minute to check it out (link above)!
Mpolish is a press sample.  All other polishes purchased by me.
I was not compensated for this review.  All opinions are my own.

Today I'm reviewing another polish from MPolish's new summer collection, fondly named the Polish of My People collection.  This time it is MPolish Dancing in the Streets and it's a purple stamping polish.  Guess who this is named for......

Yep!  ME!  Omg, I have never been so excited to use a polish.  First, I adore purple.  It's just such a beautiful color and represents so many things.  The shade of purple in Dancing in the Streets is so fun and bold, yet soft and "girly" at the same time.  Which I think perfectly describes me (am I a walking contradiction or what?!?)!  I'll talk more about this wonderful stamping polish later in the post.

My first thought was to pair Dancing in the Streets with a soft lilac or lavender.  I don't really own any indies in those colors yet, and I've kind of been stuck on this indie kick lately.  Then I remembered I have FUN Lacquer Anna, which is a duochrome holographic blurple polish.

That's a funny word, blurple.

Anyway, I thought Anna might take too much away from Dancing in the Streets, so I settled on an accent nail (or two) for Anna.  In searching through my helmer, I skimmed past Zoya Erika and thought it would make a lovely base for Dancing in the Streets.  This made for a really great Spring-y, Easter-y mani.

So, quickly, Anna by FUN Lacquer is blue-purple with shades of pink and also has a gorgeous linear holo effect.  I really wish I had a sun shot of this mani to share with you, but instead I'll have to settle for flash shots.  Anna was easy to apply, pretty much opaque in one coat, and did not stain my cuticles or skin.  I used two coats here since I like extra protection for my nails.

Zoya Erika is a pretty, soft shade of baby pink with golden shimmer throughout.  I've seen Erika matted and I think it makes it even softer and brings out the girly beauty of this polish.  I used two coats in this mani and have no VNL that I notice.

Now, for the good stuff.  MPolish Dancing in the Streets.  This polish will be available for sale, along with the other six polishes in the collection, hopefully sometime next week (w/e 4/11/15).  It will be sold on MPolish's website and will retail for $6.50/full size bottle and $3.25/mini bottle, or $43/full size collection and $21/mini size collection (I'll drop links directly to the listings when the sale goes live).

You can find links to some other swatchers/bloggers that have swatches of each polish in the collection at the bottom of this post.

So, Dancing in the Streets.  As I said, this stamping polish is a really fun, bold, pretty color, but the formula blows me away.  It is the perfect viscosity for stamping, has barely any scent, provides full coverage stamping, and doesn't smear with topcoat.  Oh yeah, and it's 5-Free, cruelty-free, AND is made in the US.  I haven't tried using it as a base polish yet, but hopefully I can write up a blog post that includes all of Meg's stamping polishes used as base polish sometime soon.

Say "hi" to Cindy!  She came out pretty good too!  #winning

I used my Uber Chic Beauty plate 1-02 for stamping.  I've been dying to use the full coverage rose image and figured this was a perfect opportunity.  As I said, MPolish Dancing in the Streets provides fantastic coverage even when using "negative space" images such as the one on my middle two fingers.

For my index and pinky fingers, I did a little double stamping using another polish in the Polish Of My People collection called Get Lost.  I can't wait to use Get Lost for a full mani, it is such a stunning shade of green!  It was the perfect color for the vines in my mani, and was another easy-to-use stamping polish with a perfect formula.  I stamped single roses on top of the vines using Dancing in the Streets.  Then I topped everything with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top quick dry topcoat.

What color are you most excited to see in this collection?  Obviously my vote is Dancing in the Streets, but I may be biased.  :-p
