Bear Pawlish Cold Never Bothered Me with stamping

Here's a beautiful polish I purchased during Bear Pawlish's B2G1 free sale in the beginning of January!  It's called Cold Never Bothered Me and it's inspired by who else but Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen!  More pics and info after the jump!

Cold Never Bothered Me appeared to be a translucent glitter polish so I thought it best to use an undie that would compliment but not overtake this polish.  I used Zoya Prim from Zoya's 2014 Wishes collection.

L-R: OPI Nail Envy, Zoya Prim, Bear Pawlish Cold Never Bothered Me, Sinful Colors Black on Black, KBShimmer Clearly on Top

I only used ONE COAT in the pic below over one coat of OPI Nail Envy.

As you can see, it was pretty streaky, but I didn't mind it since I was topping it with another polish.  I would, however, recommend a thicker second coat without manipulating the polish too much.

Next I used one coat of Cold Never Bothered Me, which has a ton of holo microglitter, as well as blue glitter and larger white hex glitter.  There's also some clear square glitter that catches the light and adds depth to the polish.

The thing I couldn't seem to capture was the amazing pink shimmer that seemed to lie in the base of this polish.  All I have to say is this was money very well spent in my opinion.

I wanted some more depth to this mani, so I added a second coat of Cold Never Bothered Me.  You can see just how beautiful this polish built up to be.

I didn't want to ruin the effect of this polish, so I only stamped on two of my nails using Sinful Colors Black on Black and my MoYou London Artist 10 plate.  I used the feather image in the angel at the bottom.  I was pretty pleased with how this turned out!

And here it is with flash.  It really brought out the base color in Zoya Prim, but sadly I didn't really pick up much of the holo goodness that was in this polish.

Speaking of Frozen... (which we, of course, own, lol)  ;-)    We are thinking of building up a good collection of Disney movies for our two-year old son, and I don't want to forget any that are must-haves.  The Lion King is at the top of the list to buy.  My favorite is The Little Mermaid, with The Emperor's New Groove being a close second.  What is your favorite Disney movie?

  14. Great mani Dancer. My favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast followed by Pocahontas. However, Squish loves Cars (both movies) and Planes (both movies). He's actually watching Planes 2 as I type this. He also likes Frozen. My daughter loves all the Princess movies plus Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan, the Tinkerbell movies, Alice in Wonderland. Non Disney movies they like so far, How To Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, and Happy Feet. There's more movies they watch but those are the ones that are in constant play.

My favorite animated movie is Treasure Planet. It's not a "classic" necessarily, but it's the one I can put on repeat and never get tired of. My son liked Tangled, too.
